    File handling File.exists always returns false PLEASE HELP!!

    Hey guys,

     I've stored the Sharepoint ID field in a text file . Every time I try to access the file in Infopath : File.exists returns False. The same code in Visual Studio 2010 returns TRUE. I'm losing it here, please help me.

    Dim FILE_NAME As String FILE_NAME = "C:\test.txt"
    Dim fileid As String
    Dim fileexists As Boolean
    fileexists = System.IO.File.Exists(FILE_NAME)

    System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show(fileexists)
    If fileexists = True Then....

    InfoPath forms cannot access files on the local file system unless their trust level is set to Full Trust.  That is most likely the issue here.
