Getting repeating table data into a SP workflow email?

    Is this possible?

I didn't realize this probably won't work until I started designing the form.

I have a repeating table with mulitple columns.  I need to somehow get this into an email that is sent to clients in a readable arrangement.  Since they are clients, they obviously do not have access to our site, so they can't view forms.

Has anyone done anything like this?  Is there a qRules solution?

Is this browser only? If not, you could just have InfoPath send email via Outlook with the data in a HTML or an XML attachment. If the clients have InfoPath they can edit it.

Otherwise, you can create a custom workflow to pull the data out of the XML and forward it in email. Another option would be to submit the data to SQL and use SQL to send the email.

    Yes it is.

With SharePoint designer?  Do you mean doing a workflow lookup, and adding the fields to the email body?  Won't all the columns be combined into one string?

Any other ideas?  This is going to be sent to anonymous users.  Is there a way to, say, save off a read only view of the form, and just attach the form to an email?  I need to get just one view of the form to our clients.  That is, if looking up the repeating table data in the body of the email won't work.

I'm still struggling with this.  I would love to hear ANY suggestions to help me out.

Here's a scenario in my form.  A project coordinator fills out a repeating section of my form that contains certain fields such as Venue, Load In Date, Load Out Date, Store Room, etc.

Now I need to get this repeating info into an email to our employees.  But the email will just merge the repeating table into a convoluted, unreadable mess.

I would like the seperate repeating sections separated into different sections in the email.  How can I accomplish this?  Should I create some kind of container for this info in the form first?

I'm starting to think that I need to start using the client, and email the form around instead of trying to accomplish everything through the browser.  The only problem is, half of our users are Mac users.

Patrick's comment just sank into my dense skull . . . I just realized you can email a HTML version of the form AND submit it to a library at the same time.  I can't believe I didn't know this before.  This is the best feature of InfoPath that I've discovered since Qrules.  The best part is you can email the active view of the form directly into the body of the email.  This works great for me because I just need to send the form and an FYI, not to be edited by the end user.  This way I can send the repeating table in it's entirety without messing with the silly workflow.

Did you get the values from the repeating section/table into a SharePoint list?

I am trying to make a SharePoint Designer workflow that takes values from a repeating section in InfoPath, and creates an item for each repeating section in a SharePoint list - do you know if it is possible?
