GUID-like identifier for a field instead of the field's name

Does anyone know what causes this? This is from a secondary data source and should be called ReportId, now this: http://i.imgur.com/U3JQ8.png . I would think this still wouldn't cause any issues, but when I run into this I also run into weird errors because the form get's saved based on the reportId's value.

What type of data source is it? Could you give us an example of one of those errors?

It was an external SharePoint list, and I actually had a problem completely un-related to the GUID value. Thanks!
