Attaching URL that includes form fields to a button

How do you include form fields in a URL that is attached to a button? For example, in the following URL:

http://acmeworkflows.com/rh/Pages/deposit-payment.aspx?stuid=", studentID, "&email=", studentEmailAddress is attached to a form button.

studentID and studentEmailAddress are form fields. When the user clicks the button, a Web page with these fields built into it opens. Ideally, the fields should autopopulate with the studentID and email address.

As an aside, I'm using the same Web page in a SharePoint Designer workflow email. However, the Add Lookup feature in SPD makes adding form fields to a URL a snap.

    Hi Poldy,

You can't attach it to a button, but you can to a link and then just use a default value to calculate it using concat, etc.

qRules v3.3 has a command to open links and that could be used from a button (for example, on submit), so that's one option if you can't rely on the user clicking a link.
