Hi all -
Been reading over this forum a good bit over the last few days, but I've been unable to find an answer to my current problem. I'm attempting to create an InfoPath 2007 form that will allow a user to enter multiple model numbers and then retrieve a specific value based on that number.
- I currently have A SQL connection setup correctly and I've edited the SQL to reflect the specific columns that I want returned
- I have tried retrieving my values two ways:
1. Create two text boxes. In first text box user enters model number; second textbox is read-only and I have a rule in first text box to populate this field.
2. I have a 'Submit' button that essentially does the same thing as the above, but I am having the same problem with it.
To test it out I am entering a number in 'Model Number' and attempting to assign the field I want (ID Field) to the other read-only text box by filtering for form model number = model number in database and display the ID associated to this model number.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've been banging my head against the computer for the last several hours attempting to get this to work.
