    Infopath 2010 to insert new item into SQL Database Table

    Hi,

    could someone please advice me on how enable infopath 2010 fields to "write" to sql database table?

    can this be achieved "out of the box"? i am not a developer, but if it requires coding, could someone please assist me in understanding the logic behind this action.

    ps: i dont have Visual Studio only access SP designer

     When you launch the InfoPath designer there is an option to create a new Database form (under Advanced Form Templates). Have you tried that?
