I am designing a form which connects to the sharepoint list. I have repeating section in the form. There are 2 dropdown box and a text box inside the repeating section. The first dropdown gets its data from the sharepoint list. Since its browser compatible form and filters cannot be used in browser compatible forms and i had to filter the data, I created XML file which will get the data in sharepoint in code behind and using xml data connection, i populated the 1st dropdown. In clicked event of first dropdown, i tried to filter the the data again depending upon the value selected in 1st dropdown and then populated the filtered data in the 2nd dropdown list using another xml file.
Now my problem is, it works perfectly fine when I run it and preview it. But when I upload it into the sharepoint server, my first dropdown works perfectly fine. But my second dropdown is empty. Can anyone tell me what is the problem it in? Why it works fine when i preview and not work when uploaded in server?? How to solve this problem.
