I have a few users that have changed their desktop fonts to larger sizes. When they open the infopath forms I've developed, the font sizes are dramatically bigger and they cannot see all the whole value horizontally in my drop downs making it difficult to fill out the form.
The layout of the form is already pretty compressed horizontally with the default font sizes and layout I've chosen so having to account for larger font sizes was not something I thought I had to do.
Note these forms are opening in infopath, not in the browser.
I found a quick resolution for this user but it's not very practical for them to do every time they want to use my form. When in internet explore, before they use the url to launch the form, they have to go to their view settings and choose "smallest". Then when they open the form, it opens with the font sizes relatively close to my definitions in the template, but the buttons on the form are still larger.
To my question. Is there a way to make it so the open behavior of my form opens with the fonts and layout that I designed in my template regardless of the desktop/internet browser settings? Note the resolution of windows is the same on her computer as it is mine (1280x1024) but the forms look drastically different when opened on a desktop with normal size settings vs one without larger font sizes.
I guess I could understand if the form size scaled with the differences in desktop settings, but it seems to be using the widths for all of the controls that I defined, it's just the text in the controls that's larger so it doesn't scale well.
Any ideas?
