Hi all:
I have an Access 2007 database and am trying to create an InfoPath 2007 form. I have two tables, tblSupportGroups and tblMembers, which are set up in a many-to-many relationship via a linking table, tlnkSGpMembers. Each SG can have many members, and each member can belong to many SGs.
My InfoPath form is for collecting information related to the setup of new Support Groups, and most of the information in the form maps to data in tblSupportGroups. I do, however, want folks filling out the form to be able to add members to tblMembers.
When I set up my Data Connection, I was able to add tblSupportGroups and tlnkSGpMembers as a child to tblSupportGroups, but when I tried to add tblMembers as a child to tlnkSGpMembers, I got an error on the connection status - something about being disabled due to a many-to-one relationship. When I removed tblMembers, the error went away.
Does anyone know if there is a way to do this, or do I basically have to collapse my many-to-many relationship to a one-to-many relationship?
Thanks,
nkstrou
An imprecisely defined requirement has an infinite number of possible solutions. Unfortunately, only about a maxiumum of 3 solutions are actually satisfactory to the end user.
