    Hi, I have tried to conduct an XPath search with pattern match in C# codes; however, I constantly get function not recognized exception/error ...

    I have tried

    matches(), matches-pattern(), matches_pattern() nothing works ....

    I just wonder whether InfoPath XPath support basic function called matches ...

    It looks like those are all XPath 2.0 functions.  InfoPath only supports XPath 1.0 and a few custom functions.
