    Which Text Box isn't Bound?

I've designed an Infopath form, and as I was getting ready to publish it, I noticed several "stray" fields on the Data Source list. I thought had all my controls labeled, so I went through the list and deleted them. Then the Design Checker started giving me an error message saying "Text Box is Not Bound," but I can't figure out which one, or get any additional info by clicking on the error. Can someone point me in the right direction?

The view should have a red x marks the spot warning mark - "Unbound (Control cannot store data)" - when you hover over the field. That means it isn't bound. Right click the field and choose Change Binding to fix it. Unfortunately, it won't tell you what it was previously bound it to since you deleted the node. :)

    Happy trails!

Hi, generally when you have this message the corresponding text box have a little red star, and when you right click on the field, it said something like "text box is not bound", you just have to delete them. You have to check on every view.

If you can't find them just attach your template, when you reply click on option, add your file ...

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I don't see any text box with a red x, and I clicked through every box on the form a couple of times in both the Preview and Design views. I guess there may be a text box hiding somewhere, or maybe it could relate to the repeating table? Since I'm still playing around and getting comfortable with the program and form, I'll just publish it as a test and see what happens.

Really appreciate the offer, but somehow I figured it out. There was an issue in my repeating table somewhere, although I'm not sure exactly what was going on.

Ok, no problem generally if you add a column on a repeating table, he also create a new field on your xml, Maybe that's what happened
