    Published Form

    Hi

Thanks to the posts and help on here I have been able to autopopulate my form from dropdown boxes and apply the appropriate filters, and everything works fine. Just when I was thinking this was straightforward, I published form to a doc library, and my promoted field shows the "ID" of the sharepoint list in my data source and not the selected data from the dropdown box. Looking for some guidance on what im doing wrong. Using Moss2007 and IP2007

Thanks again for the knowledge in the previous posts, it has been a great help

Hi, thanks for your reply ,,,,,,,doh !!! yes it is but when I change it to another value my dropdown box does not show any data, ie if I change value from "ID" to "Code" then preview form it shows me nothing , so im assuming my rule could be wrong, or am going totally in the wrong direction here ?

Yes thanks for taking time to help me out, just to recap on what form doing:

When Account Code selected ----------------------description field autopopulates

Whane Cost Centre selected ------------------------Budget Holder autopopulates

After publishing in doc library promoted field acc code were showing "ID" field of list,  hope I have explained this well enough, as I said just begining with MOSS2007.

     Thanks

Hi, on your drop down properties you display your code but the value is set to ID, that's why when you save your form ID is populated. Have a look on the print screen you have to change the @ID for @code on the value.
