    Filter Data for recent date

    Hi,

I want to use "Filter Data" in the repeating sections properties to only display the section with the most recent date. I'm not too familiar with functions so can someone tell me what function to use to achieve this?

    Thank you.

Sounds like an XPath question. Have you looked at the XPath references on line?

    Hi Patrick,

I did but I couldn't find anything on obtaining recent dates. I tried the "max" and "last" functions and they don't seem to work. The "today" function seems to work but the problem is I want to match the most recent date, not the current date. Do you have any suggestions?

Why not just write some code? That would be way easier. Write a function that returns true of false for each row and add xdExtension to a display condition rule to control hide/show. Let us know if you need more pointers. I do believe it's doable in XPath, but it might be very complex and hard to figure out.
