Then I went to InfoPath and selected that site and I could see my group and I promoted the fields to correspondent fields on that site and then I asked the sys admin to deploy the form again. All my site columns disappeared and I see all promoted columns are created under Microsoft InfoPath form group under the top level site! Is there something wrong about this kind deployment? Where are my site columns and how I can find them? 09-21-2010 06:42 AM In reply to ErnestoM Joined on 08-27-2007 Posts 3,320 Re: InfoPath deployment and promoted fields problem Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I wish that was the case! InfoPath and SharePoint are not working very well together. As I mentioned in my post, I created some columns under a new group in one site that I was admin and I promoted my InfoPath form fields to those columns, but it did not work the way that I was hoping for. SharePoint instead created new columns under top level Microsoft InfoPath Form group and all of my columns and my group in the sub-site disappeared. I had to ask the SharePoint Admin go one by one and move the columns to a new group at the top level and I had to promote my fields one more time. It worked this time, but such a pain.
