Conditional formatting based on drop down list choices

    Hi

I'm very new to Infopath.  I'm creating logistics forms for our travel company and what I want to do is this.

I've created drop down lists so that you can choose the Tour and then the boat that is being used for that tour.  What I would like to be able to do is when you choose the name of the boat from the list the contact details for that boat appear below it.  And then change when you choose a different boat and for there to be nothing when no boat is selected.  If someone could tell me how to do this that would be great.  I've had a tentative look at the conditional formatting but it seems to only apply to the control and not to other areas of the form.  I guess what I really want is to be able to have various areas of the form appear and disappear based on the boat name, is this possible?

    thanks

     B. :-)

That sounds more like you want to query a data source using the dd list to pass the query parameter.  It would return the contact list details for the boat which you would display in your contact fields.
