Hi All,
I have a Browser enabled infopath 2007 form with c# code behind hosted on a custom aspx page on MOSS 2007. There are number
of controls in that Infopath form including Buttons, Textboxes, Sections etc. I am enabling/disabling some of those controls
based on user roles & other criteria using conditional formatting of the controls (for example, if IsMemberOfLegal = 0,
I am choosing the option of "Disable this control" in conditional formatting, I am setting the value of the variable IsMemberOfLegal
in C# code behind based on logged in user role). When I open this form within the sharepoint, the controls are enabling\disabling
appropriately based on the logged in user role, so all is well With respect to security.
But, I also have a requirement were in I need to send the filled in infopath forms as a hyperlink in the emails. So when users click on
this hyperlink the infopath form opens up, But they are able to see some of the controls which should be disabled for them as enabled.
But when they login with same credentials on to sharepoint & open up the form the controls which should be disabled for them are disabled.
Is this happening because sharepoint cannot figure out the security of the user (role) because they are opening it from the email?
If so, any suggestions on how to over come this.
Thanks,
