Change the label of a button

    Hi,

I have one more question is there anyway to change the label of a button? The probleme is that my form has to be multilingual and I need to change for example: Hi in Bonjour(like we say in french)!

    I hope that is possible!

Thanks one more time for your help!

    Hi again Thierry, :)
You can manually change the button label by just double clicking on the button and changing the label text in the properties box. To programattically do this... you might be able to insert some xd:preserve code manually into the XSL that calls into your code to get the name. This is an advanced topic though. I'll ask Greg if he thinks this technique will work ...

If there's only a couple of languages you are using, the best thing is to add multiple buttons to the form template, each in the correct language, and then add conditional formatting to hide the ones not associated with the current language.

You can use xd:preserve in the XSL file, but this is much more messy. For examples of how to do this take a look at the InfoPath Dev Example: "Rudimentary Animation"

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help !

The language depend on which person open the form so I couldn't do that manualy!

But the probleme is that I have four language French, German, Italian and English (Switzerland is small but all the people don't speak the same language (English is only for control)) and make always four button with 4 conditionnal formatting slow up my form so I think we will use some Symbol fonts for make the button and so all people can understand and only one button in the form with no conditionnal formatting!

I hope you will understand and thanks one more time!
