InfoPath Dev

I'm creating a new form based on an already existing schema. On the form upgrade option (under the Advanced form options tab), the option to "Automatically upgrade existing forms." is not presented as an option. Obviously there is something in my schema that Infopath doesn't like.

I will start a process of elimination to determine the problem. I'm just hoping someone can speed my search or perhaps provide a general rule as to when this might occur.

I'm not sure I understand the scenario. So, you opened Designer and chose new from schema and then went to Forms->Tools Options and on the Advanced tab saw that the schema was not automatically upgrade-able. Is that correct?
