Hi

I have a infopath template in a SP Doc Library.  The form has rules set to auto number the forms on open, this works fine.  However if I have one new form open and another user also clicks on the new button, before the other form has been submitted it causes me submit problems.  Is there any way to stop this occuring?  I have some VB.net code behind the form to submit.   Is there any checks I can do to prevent more than one new form to be opened at any one time?

create a recieve data connection to your doc lib and get ID from the connection, just before submitting(for first time submit) query the data connection and fetch the highest ID and use that for the naming purpose
