I can hide using Rules but how can I show a Section control using rule or code?

well there is no explicit way of showing a field or section using a conditional formatting. if the condition on the conditional formatting fails, the formatting does not apply, so if you want your field to be visible say if field1 = 'a"

write a conditional formatting

if field1 is not equal to a

hide the field.

I have several sections (sec1...sec5). Logic is:

If user "A" opens up the form, only sec4 should be visible to him/her

If User "D" opens up the form, only say sec1 should be visible to him/her

so you can have a conditional formatting on sec4 like

if user is not equal to A

hide this section

similary put a conditional formatting on section 1

if user is not equal to D

hide this section..
