InfoPath Dev

I would like to be able to add a text box to a Infopath document that I've created.  My form is currenly linked to a Microsoft Access Database.  I would like to add a text box that is not linked to anything.  Is that possible?

I don't believe this is possible in database-bound forms. You would need a regular InfoPath form (not bound to a database), which submits to the database using a web service. That way you can modify the schema as necessary. We typically use the DBXL web service, but it is not compatible with Access.
