Is it possible to get the text from a combo box without code?

My combo box is populated with a web service and has a value and a text. I have a webservice that gets the vaue of a combo box and stores it in the database, but I would like to display the text in a sharePoint list.  I tried creating another text box where I could populate it with the text if a value is selected, but I can't find any way to grab the text to put in the text box.

I would prefer to do this without using code if possible.

well, there is a solution, but it might not work always(for some data it wont work properly). check the attachment
