I have asked this question on another thread-forum, I will re-phrase without going through the reasons why....

Is there any way we can register Infopath Form Templates(fully trusted/signed/admin published) on a users PC via a batch/powershell script/msi installer? (i.e. so the user does not have to open the template to register)

I'm not understanding why the user has to open the template.

Are you just trying to upload an InfoPath Form.

I've run the following dos batch file from powershell:

 Hi, thanks for your reply, publishing/activating forms to MOSS is OK,

But,-

1. The admin forms are published to a server folder and the templates uploaded to MOSS and activated 
2. We email the forms to users who are never connected to sharepoint who fill these forms in (they do not use Outlook)
3. The returned forms are uploaded (custom button) to their form libraries (content type)
4. Sharepoint users can view the browser enabled forms
5. But
6. If Moss serves up a non browser link, they need the template installed on their local machine.

So what we are trying to do is automate the procedure of

1. Deploying templates to users who are never connected to Sharepoint
2. Deploying templates to users who are connected to Sharepoint but need to access the template using Infopath (non browser link served up by MOSS) 

Make any sense?

Thanks I just didn't understand your process. 

Do your users have to Infopath on their machines?  Is part of this process client-side processing?

Yes they have Infopath installed.
Theres no extra processing, just a form and its library.
Currently we are emailing the Templates, for the office users this means they have to open the (new version) template on their pc (remember the user is not filling these forms, only viewing existing forms sent from offline users) before he is able to  view (or upload)  a form in Infopath.
