I have created a repeating table with 7 columns:-
ActionItems - (Repeating table)
ActionNumber - DropDown list box with values from 1-10)
Action - (Text Box)
Owner - (gpContactSelector- active X Control to retrieve LDAP queries)
DueDate - (DatePicker)
Status - (Dropdown List box)
Approved_to_Email - (DropDown List Box)
Send_Email - (Button that has a rule set up to submit via an "E-mail Data Connection")
The E-Mail Submit Data Connection contains the following formula to send an email
To: "Displayname" - (This is retrieved from the grContactSelector group)
Subject:- concat("Please Complete Action:- ", ActionNo, " by the:- ", DueDate, "")
ActionNo is retrieved from the field "ActionNumber" which is a dropdownlist box containing numbering from 1-10
DueDate is retrieved from the field "DueDate" which is a date picker.
The problem I have is when I insert another row and input different values and select a different user and press the "Send Email" on the newly inserted row the email is sent to the same values in the parent row. This is the same for each new table that is inserted into the repeating table.
What I need to do is reset the values in each child row that is inserted so that when the "Send Email" Button is pressed for that specific row the email is sent from that row to the selected person from the "GpContactSelector" field, correct "ActionNo" field with the supplied "DueDate" for the matching row in question.
