Hi and Thanks,

I am automatically ticking a checkbox if another checkbox is selected.

I have setup a rule in check box A, so if I tick Check box A (TRUE), also tick Check box B(TRUE). I am using the set fields value function, and TRUE().

Problem is the rule doesn't seem to work, when I tick Checkbox A, checkbox B does not get ticked, rather it gets a dashed red box (like that of a mandatory field).

Can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong.

Can you try just using the value true (all lowercase letters) for setting the checkbox's value?  You also may want to look at the checkbox's properties to make sure the the checked value is true (and not yes, or something like that).

Thanks for the response. I did try the "true". I looked at all the other setting and everything looked fine. Although I did get it to work when i changed the value from TRUE/FALSE to 1/2.

But weirdly, when i click checkbox A, it sets all the other checkboxes with a tick, but it does not allow me to put a tick in checkbox A. Very weird, it appears to run the rule, but not insert the tick.

Any help much appreciated.
