Hello,
I'm building a form that pulls sharepoint list data (a personnel master roster) into a repeating table based on a drop down list box of work centers (which is, in of itself, another sharepoint list).
I'd like to be able to filter the data pulled into the repeating table by the drop down workcenter box, but it appears that I can only apply conditional formatting to hide the rows of data that don't match the selection made.
Ultimately, the goal is to get each workcenter to submit a personnel report daily and submit it to the sharepoint form library that I have made. Then, once each workcenter has done their daily submissions, I'd like our administration people to merge each of the days forms into one (merging every workcenters submitted form).
The main problem I'm running into is that the when I merge the forms, none of the data shows up in the final merged form. When I open the submitted forms individually, they are perfect. But when merged together, the repeating table doesn't populate. I'm thinking thats because I have the conditional formatting applied to the original form being used by the workcenters, and when you merge them all together, that formatting is still applied.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could go about fixing this? Or perhaps a better way to do what I'm trying? Basically, I'm attempting to set up a daily roll call / personnel muster (that uses personnel data stored in a sharepoint list).
Thanks,
James
