    Execute Rule based on a value set in code behind

    In a button's clicked event code, I set the value of a data field - isValid - based on the validity of multiple fields in the form.  For the same buton, a rule is set to close the form based on the value of the data field isValid.   But the Close event does not fire even though the form is valid.  Am I missing anything here?  The changes done be the code is not affecting the Rule.

    rules are executed first and then the code behind. might be you should try closing the form in the code itself.

    this.Close();

    Thanks Qazi.  I am new to InfoPath development.  Now I did some research on this.Close().  But it is not available to me as I am developing a web compatible form.
