Hi, On my form I have created a button and a couple of rules connected with it. Each rule sends data using data connections to web service. Is it possible to get value that web service returns? Infopath unfortunatelly executes next rule no matter previous submiting operation succedess or not. If false is returned I would like to terminate executing rule chain. regards Jarek

 You just need to split up your rules into separate rule sets, and use a condition at some point to stop executing rules if the web service returns false.

Yes, my rules are are in separate rule sets, each of them have one rule action. Both data connections are "sending data connections", so I can't use return value from web service. Should I create receiving data connections to read result? First web service receives one parameter - entire form content with digital signature (as string).

I have created receiving connection and set connection parameter via rule (value of 'myFields' root element) but web services receives null parameter. In 'sending data connection' wizard I could specify to insert in parameter entire form contents (in XML and with digital signature) and send it as string. Worked perfectly. ;) Is it possible in receiving connection? regards Jarek
