Invalid browser data, sequence contains no elements, and index out of range

Hello - I am working on an InfoPath form that needs to generate data to Word via an AddIn. I am using InfoPath 2007, the form is browser-enabled, it submits to a SharePoint library, and we have (MOSS) 2007. Just yesterday morning, the InfoPath data generated to Word with the AddIn just fine. I made just a few minor changes to the form to finalize it and then, while filling in a sample form, I received the following error message when I clicked on a repeating field in the form:

InfoPath Critical Error: The data posted from the browser is invalid. This may arise if a button (with an action other than rules) has been set never to send form data to the server.

I'm not sure if that relates to what followed or not, but I finished filling in the sample form, then initiated the Word AddIn; but then I got the following error message and have not been able to find a way to fix this problem yet:

Word AddIn error message: Unable to load InfoPath form: sequence contains no elements

One of the few changes I made to the form before it stopped working correctly was to setup a custom submit message. (Other changes were renaming a few fields, which I've done many times successfully, and some basic layout changes). When I setup that custom submit message, published the form, and submitted a sample form to the SharePoint library, I noticed that the form data no longer filled into the SharePoint library columns. I removed the custom submit info from the form and republished it - that didn't get rid of the error message but the data did show up in the columns again. I added the custom submit info back into the form, published it again and submitted a new sample form, and then the data showed up in the columns. I tried generating that newly submitted form to Word with the AddIn and then got a new error message:

Error Loading Form - Unable to load InfoPath form: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection - Parameter name: index

I tried using the AddIn with the same InfoPath submitted form again right away and then got the same error message as before: Word AddIn error message: Unable to load InfoPath form: sequence contains no elements

If you have any idea about what might have happened, that would be really great! I'm under a deadline to get this form done and working, and I can't believe this happened in the home stretch -

    Thanks very much :)
