    1 "interview" generates multiple forms

I have a client that does an "interview" where multiple questions are asked gathering information throughout the process.  As each question is answered, the process may add or drop information requirements.  This is an easy fit for InfoPath as I have read, however, at the end of the process, the data gathered is used to generate 10+ documents.  I'm looking at SharePoint 2010, and InfoPath 2010, as I think the "document set" feature is exactly what I'm looking for.

My question is: If my initial "form" is an interview that gathers information - how can I store that form, yet "spawn" multiple forms that require the same information?  Is this possible?  I realize that I could save the data gathered back to a database, and then intitate each form using the database as the data source - but that user interaction is something that I would live to avoid.

Help pointing me some documentation in 2010 in this regard would be very much appreciated.

     Thanks in advance,

    Richard
