first of all, sorry for my bad english! :-)
I am evaluating Infopath at the moment and would like to create the following scenario: I want to check, if a customer is already in my customer-database. Therefore I connect to this database and then I receive the customer information in my infopath form. After that I fill in all other fields in my infopath form and after that, I want to save all of the form data in my local XML-Infopath-file, which is my "bill database".
Can I realize that? And if yes, please give me a hint HOW! :-) Im asking because like I understood, Infopath defines for each field only one connection to one source/destination, isnt it? So how cas I say, that for example my name field is filled from the connection with the customer database and later the content of the same field goes to my local infopath file? Is this possilble? Or is only ONE connection to ONE source/destination possible?
