I have a browser form in Sharepoint that submits to a web service, which updates a database. I am getting a The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request error in the trace log, and Im not sure why. It works when ran in the infopath client, yet when published to Sharepoint, it does not. My web service is running (debugged in visual studio) when I submit the form, but does it need to be published (the web service I mean)? Like said before, it worked in the infopath client, when the web service wasnt published. The webservice's address is http://servername:portnumber, the server being our sharepoint server (standalone installation). If I do need to publish it, how do I do so, is there an article you can point me too? Im obviously fairly new to this stuff, and just not sure. If I shouldnt have to publish it, what do you think the problem is?
