The check box "Update this value when the result of the formula is recalculated" for date picker control not working in Browser forms

    Hi All,

I have repeating table with a Date Picker column. I set default value as today() for that coulumn. Also unchecked the check box "Update this value when the result of the formula is recalculated" below to the default value.

In the preview mode. When i press "Insert newitem" at the bottom of the repeating table, i am getting the today's date as default. But all the other rows gets the date from database. This is what i am trying to get.

The problem here is, when i published this form to sharepoint site. All the rows showing the today's date, instead of date values from the database except the new row.

Can anyone suggest some solution for this issue.

    Thanks & Regards,Govind

Remove the default value and use a rule (with no condition) that checks to see if the field is blank first before setting it equal to the today() value.

    Thanks Patrick..

That works when i add a rule. But i lost the date formate.

I need the date in the formate "dd/MM/yyyy" Instead of "yyyy/MM/dd".

    Thanks & Regards

    Govind.
