    DataObject

    quoted from the MSE:
    quote:

    In the following example, the DataObjects property of the XDocument object is used to set a reference to the CityList secondary data source:

    var objDataObject;
    objDataObject = XDocument.DataObjects("CityList");

    Probably this would be the stupidest question alive, but what does it mean by giving the argument "CityList"?
    Does it refer to an XML file called CityList.xml or the root node of the XML file is named "CityList" ?

    Hi Potpourri,
    It means that you are choosing the secondary data object called "CityList". See the SDK and also the xsf for info on what data objects you have.

    ms-its:C:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20Office%202003%20Developer%20Resources\Microsoft%20Office%20InfoPath%202003%20SDK\Help\infref.chm::/html/xsfelmdataObjects.htm

    Hope this helps!

    You can also check Tools-Data Connections to explore your data connections. Or you can extract the form files and look at the Data Objects defined in the XSF.
