Hi,

We are working on an Infopath based form. This form will be published on an existing sharepoint site.
Now we can't find a sloutions for the following:

1.  How can we proect certain fields from this form so it's not editable for other people apart from the owner. We only want that the person who read this form is able to edit one field and not the other fields.

If it's a rich client form, use User Roles and use conditional formatting to disable all the controls that you don't want others to be able to edit.

If it's a browser form, create your own User Roles and do the same thing.  I have some articles to help with that on browser forms:
