InfoPath either cannot connect to the data source or the service has timed out while submit IPF via webservice

    Hi,

I designed new browser enabled IPF to submit the form data's to SQL database via Webservice.

I deployed my webservice in share point server and its working fine.

when i submit my IPF it says "InfoPath either cannot connect to the data source or the service has timed out."

    Please give me the solution.

    Thanks

    hi,

why don't you increase your infopath  time out property. You are submitting your data to web srvice through code or rules?

    Go to

Central Administration > Application Management > Configure InfoPath Forms Services

    here you will find

Default data connection timeout: 20000 milliseconds
Maximum data connection timeout: 2000000 milliseconds

So you can set Default data connection timeout from 20000 to 2000000.. See if this can help you. I am not very much familiar with web service but are you using property promotion in this?

    Hi,

See if below link can help you

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827003 .

One more thing I want to suggest to you is 1st create a simple form and then try to publish it to your web service.

This will let you know wheather you procedure is incorrect or your form has some issues.

That means you have a rule issue or problem on your submit.  Start with something very simple and work your way up.  We can't tell you what the problem is just by giving us that error.  We would need to see the entire way your form is structured - the web service you're using, the data connections, the submit method, the submit rules, the UDCX files, the authentication method you're using for double-hopping to the web service...tons of things.

     Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Please find my IPF structure.

1.I have create one Browser enabled IPF.

2.Create one custom webservice(Submit data to SQL server) in my share point server and hosted in default port(80).

3.Using Data connection , i select webservice to connect my data to SQL server.

4.I have published my IPF to share point library.

    5. When i preview my IPF it says  "InfoPath cannot submit the form.
An error occurred while the form was being submitted.
    Access is denied."

6.My form is in domain security and trust levlel.

7.I checked with my browser also, the same error occured.

    Please give me your suggestions

    Thanks

When you submit ur form thru browser it gives you "An Error occured message".

Open your form in Client and then submit your form, It will give you error description that which field has problem. Then check rules on that field.

    Hi,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I open my form in client and submit it, but it says "The form cannot be submitted to the following location: http://server/formlibrary
You are not authorized to perform the current operation."

My form is Full trust and i have full control to this library.
