    Publishing Administrative forms to Sharepoint

I have a form that has code so it's being published to Sharepoint with the central admin.  Up until yesterday there's been no issues, however, yesterday morning when I upload the form template it'll hang for a minute, say it's complete, then SP is inaccessible for about a minute.  The error in the System Event logs is: A process serving application pool 'xxxxxx' exceeded time limits during shut down.  The process id was '6040'.  The process id changes and I'm understanding that this is the app pool that it's using and I'm assuming that it's IIS with the problem but I can't seem to narrow this down at all.

So, I guess my questions are: has anyone seen this and know what I need to look for?  and does anyone know what exactly happens when the form template is uploaded in SP?  Is it running a job or a process that is giving the app pool a problem?

Any suggestions on how to figure this one out?

     Thanks much!

    Karen.

    hi karen,

i have also faced same problem, increasing the RAM solved the problem for me, i used task manger, performance manager and process explorer to monitor what was going wrong when i uploaded the form. i found out that system was gettng low on memory, so i increased its RAM

For you i wil suggest u monitor the server performance when publishing the form and check what is causing the bottle neck for you. and then try to remove that bottleneck
