Making the form or text box read only if checked out to another user

Hello, I was trying to figure out how to make a text box read only if another user has the file checked out.  Currently when my form is NOT checked out, the user can edit the text box and when they try to submitted it faults out just like it should.  I would like them not to be able to edit at all if its not checked out.  Is this possible and how?

    Hi ShaunP,

You need to check if the form is read only or not and set a field that is used in your condition to enable/disable the text box. To find out if the form is read only, you need to add a little code that calls IsReadOnly(). We're going to add that to the next version of qRules (1.8?) so that people who don't like to write code can use it codelessly. Until then, you'll have to do some slinging yourself or send us a donation and your form.

    Cheers!

Hey Patrick, thanks for getting back to me. Looks like I am "slinging" more like "swimming" for a bit until i can solve this.  You at least gave me something to run with in the mean time.
