Setting the Textbox of the Calendar to ReadOnly in InfoPath 2007

    Hi,

I need to set the TextBox of the Calendar in InfoPath to readOnly while keeping the calendar showing.

When i create a conditional formatting rule and i set it to Read Only then the user is not able to see the calendar to pick a date from it.

What i want is to keep the calendar showing but i need also not to let the user edit the text box.

    Best Regards,

    GMK

Hi, sorry if this is a crazy question -- but why do you want to display a date picker control if you aren't going to let your user select a date?

Okay -- simple sample form attached to the header of this post -- you can right click, save as, then right click the local saved file and select design to open in design mode. Preview to test.

Basically, I made the date picker contol just the size of the calendar. Then I added an expression box under it that, once the date is picked, will display the value.
