Anyone know of a way to output into an expression "Dear John Doe," if you had a value in a text box from a query in this format, "Doe, John"?

Basically, I need to know how to reverese these two words so without the "," so that I can use it to addess someone formally.

A follow up question if I may. How would you go about creating emails strings from that same set of data? For example, "Doe, John" to [email protected].  The email should have last name which would be proceded by the first letter of the person's first name.  If you know a way to write this using the expression features in IP that would be nice.

Yes, this is possible. The problem is detecting whether there is a space after the comma. I'm not sure how to handle this if the user doesn't enter that space, but I'll give you the sample and let you play around with it. Good luck.
