Avoid form version dialog by opening a form out of an email

    Hi all,

I have read the manual with Mel Balsamo where offline working people can
    be integrate in a process.

Everything works fine. But the form from the offline user has another Version
of the same form as the private form on my pc. That's ok, but I want to avoid
the dialog who is asking vor which version I want to use. When I get a form
from an offline user I want always open it with my private form template (higer
version). How can I avoid this dialog?

    Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

In my blog post (Manipulating Form Versions section > B.6.c), I noted:

Notice that this template (private version) has the same ID as the one that we sent to our external user (public version). Don’t be confused, this template has a higher version number than the one already sent. As we know, forms will open with the higher version template.

If you've already done that and yet you're still being asked which form template version you wish to open the form with, please check that you have selected automatic upgrade in your Private version by going to Tools > Form Options > Versioning and let me know if you still get the version warning dialogs.

    Cheers!

Hi Mel, thank you very much.

I made one little mistake which must be the reason for my problem. I just used different form names.
In your manual you use the name EmailForm. I used two different names. Now it works fine.

Thank a lot you a lot!

    Cheers!!!

    Marco
