    Save current view

I have a form with 3 views.  The default view contains one small section with only a drop down list and a button.  Depending on what is chosen from the drop down list, a new view is displayed.  The new view displayed contains the section from the default view (this allows the user to change his mind and choose something else without using a back button) and various other controls.  At the bottom of the form is a Save button.  The Save button should save the current view.   Everything works ok, but when I open the saved form, I see the default form with only one section (the drop down and the button).  I have to click the button in order to see the remaining saved form.  Can anyone tell me a way to get around this?  I want to be able to open the saved form and see everything without clicking any buttons.

I am fairly new to Infopath so any help given is greatly appreciated.

     Thank you.

No problem.  You just need to add a rule that switches the view upon opening the form by going to Tools > Form Options > Open and Save > Rules.  Set a rule to switch the view based off whatever metadata you prefer.  You may use a hidden Submitted field that has a flag set to true upon first submission maybe, and then check for that condition when making the rule to switch views.

This is what I'm looking for. Could you explain how to do with the 2010 and 2013? Thanks!
