    Cancel Changes

I have a form that queries information from an Access 2003 dbase.  Users view the contents of the form but are unable to edit it unless they click on the "Edit" button which switches to a new view.  In the new view, the edit screen, the can make changes and submit them to the dbase.  I've also created a "cancel" button on this view so that if a user decides they don't want to submit the changes, they will be brought back to the previous view.

    My problem is this:

People will change a field, then decide that they don't want to submit that change and will hit "cancel" which brings them back to the previous view.  Even though they did not submit their change to the dbase, it still shows on the screen until they either:

    a) change it back or

    b) exit out of the form and reopen it.

I hope I'm making this clear....it's difficult to explain!

What I would like to know is, is there a way to create a button labeled "cancel" that will change back all the fields to what is actually in the dbase when you switch views?

Add a Refresh action to your Cancel button that refreshes the data from your Access data connection.
