    Infopath on sharepoint

I've created a form in Infopath 2007 to where the users can fill out the information and click submit. The problem is that I want to put this information o n a database (possibily on sharepoint?) to where my boss can just go to the database and pull up the report from the users input. Also the database should be able to be pulled (exported) into excel(recommend) or access. Can anyone please help me with a few suggestions? Ultmately, the goal is to have users input their information on the database themselves and the information collects to a database that is easily pullable at any time. Like a one stop shop kind of thing. Thank you for your time.
    Ram.

To do this yourself will require a lot of work and time - you have to create a Web service that maps the form to SQL. Ideally, the Web Service handles multiple XSNs and has a bunch of other features.

Qdabra's DBXL can save you money, time and provide lots of extra value as you build out InfoPath and/or SharePoint solutions to streamline your business processes. Here’s the value proposition:·         Cost: we guarantee DBXL will save you 50% or more of the cost of developing InfoPath Web services in house. o   Adding new forms does not require new Web services. DBXL handles all of your Web service needs. Mapping to SQL is data driven.·         Time: if you have a form, installing DBXL, publishing your InfoPath form and mapping to SQL and SharePoint takes less than 2 hourso   That’s right, you’re up and running in very little time. ·         Flexibility: if you change your form or your database you will not break the InfoPath form submission processo   DBXL stores your forms in XML and maps to SQL. You can update the mapping later to handle new fields. Submit process is not interrupted if you change your form to include a new field.·         Value: DBXL has been used in mission critical environments (emergency rooms) and Wide Area Network enterprises for over 5 years. Microsoft, itself, has purchased more licenses than anyone else. Many features have been added, including:o   Document-level permissions based on assignment, Backup and migration tools, Compliance - HIPAA and Part 11, etc.

Here’s a link to the free trial version: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/DBXL.aspx
