How to create PMT function/calculation inside infopath form

I am a newbie to Infopath and need some help.  How would I go about creating some custom code to return the value of a financial calculation (PMT) and storing the value into a field?  I want users to be able to enter PV, Rate and Periods and have the form calculate and collect the PMT amount into a field.  Ideas?  I am a DBA and not a programmer.  I see that VB supports the PMT function; just not sure where to go from there....

    Hi Jim,

InfoPath supports business logic. You can add code to your form that calculates PMT and have the field set based on that. We can show you how to do that, or we can do it for you. Probably 15-20 minutes. Let me know.
