Please help a brand new user with Repeating Groups

It's very possible that an easy answer to this can be derived if I knew how to properly reference the xPath of repeating sections (and each control therein)

I'll again start off by saying that I'm a brand new user to infopath.  I've been browsing the site and searching the forums for a few days now, and I've found a lot of helpful information, especially pertaining to the problem i'm about to describe, however some of the information is still a little difficult for me to decipher without much experience.  I would appreciate any help or advice the community is willing to provide.

I'll try to describe my form and goal as specifically as possible

I have multiple repeating Tables linked to Repeating Groups each consisting of two textboxes and a radio button array.   I want to be able to summarize information from each row of each repeating table in two expression boxes later in the form.  If radio button 1 is selected, the information should be displayed in expression box 1, if radio button 2 is selected, the information should be displayed in expression box 2.

Ideally I would like to avoid programming.  Currently the design is as follows:

An "update" button at the end of the form populates the data into the expression boxes.  There are separate rules on the button for each repeating group, and for each value of the radio button (one rule to populate expressionbox1 if radiobutton1 is selected, and one rule to populate expressionbox2 if radiobutton2 is selected)  Efficiency is not necessarily a primary issue for this project.  I need to somehow add in this functionality for the 2nd,3rd,4th,etc rows of each repeating table.

In searching this forum, I've found references to the following behavior, but can't really easily interpret the solution.  When filling out the form, If I add another line to the repeating table (now I have 2 lines of Textbox1 | RadioArray | Textbox2) and select value1 of the radioArray for the first row, and value2 for the second row, The data from the first row (Textbox1,Textbox2) is written to both expressionbox1 and expressionbox2.  If value1 is selected in both rows, it will only display the first row's textbox data once in expressionbox1.  For this case, I would want text from both rows of the repeating table to be in expressionbox1.

I would appreciate any help in this matter, whether its advice on my current strategy, or if a different strategy would work better.  Thanks very much in advance

Hi and Welcome to the Forums,

By adding an Update button at the end and updating all rows values at a time is not possible using rules. Add a button to each row and add the rules then it will work for you. Otherwise you need to write code for the update button.
