    Check for Malicious code

    Hi there

Is there any way i can stop users adding Malicious code or characters to a text field or have the code or characters stiped out when the form is submitted.

    Any help appreciated Thanks

What exactly do you mean by malicious code?  For what will the field values be used where their values might cause harm?

    Re: Check for Malicious code

    Hi there

Here’s the background, I work in a school, I’ve created a infopath form for parents to register their interests in a school trip, the form is mostly made up of Text Boxes.

The form gets filled in and submitted to a SharePoint form library, when this happens a SharePoint Designer workflow pulls some basic info from the form using Lookups and put this into an email and then fires of the email to me.

The problem is this, if someone filling out the form adds html tags into a text box to create a hyperlink to lets say Google, when I receive the email that shows me the contents of the submitted form the html code they added turns most of the email body into one big hyperlink .

I want to be able to stop users adding code to text boxes.

    Hope this makes sense

    Garry
