InfoPath 2003:
How can I make (1) button control submit to my SharePoint library and send an emal?

Just use rules instead of default submit. One rule submits to SharePoint and another rule sends e-mail. You'll have to define data connections for both SharePoint and e-mail, but this is straightforward.
Thank you.
