    convert field to URL

Have a question about formating a field to be a URL?

I have a repeating table with two columns.
    Column A = ticketType
    Column B = ticketNumber

There are 3 types of ticket types: Internal, Vendor, Other
I have an internal web server that hosts Internal ticket information.
    Example of Site:http://domain.com/Issue%Log/view.aspx?id=12345
The end of the URL 12345 is the Internal Ticket number.

So here is my question, when the Ticket type in my field is Internal, is it possible to convert the ticket number into a link for the website with that entered ticket number parsed into the hyperlink?

Or, how to make a hyperlink conditional? I have added a hyperlink using concat() to get the correct hyperlink, but need to make it conditional, only if Internal ticket type is selected.

Add conditional formatting on the hyperlink control so that it hides if type != internal. Then you will only show the hyperlink if it is internal.

    Greg,

I have been trying to determine how to use taht approach. Conditional formating is greyed out as it is not really a data source? unless there is a trick and to add it or do I need to figure out how to do this with scripting?

Yes - my mistake, I forgot that hyperlinks do not have conditional formatting. To get around this you place the hyperlink inside a section, and then add the conditional formatting to the section.
