    'Grouping' SharePoint data

I'm pretty much a novice with InfoPath, but I'm trying to use InfoPath 2003 to facilitate reporting of data pulled from SharePoint (MOSS).  I've successfully created the data connections and pulled the data into InfoPath, but would like to take the flat data structure from SP and lay it out in a more 'Grouped' fashion.  I assume that I'll use repeating sections, but have been unsuccessful in completing getting the layout quite right.  The current data structure in SharePoint looks like this:

    _Job #_            _Task_             _Start_Date_    _Comp_Date_

    123                  BuyParts          01/1/09            02/01/09

    123                  SortParts          02/02/09          02/10/09

    123                  Build                02/11/09          02/19/09

    789                  BuyParts          03/1/09            03/01/09

    789                  SortParts          04/02/09          04/10/09

    789                  Build                04/11/09          04/19/09

Would like to have that data retrieved by InfoPath form and displayed as follow:

    _123_

    BuyParts          01/1/09            02/01/09

    SortParts          02/02/09          02/10/09

    Build                02/11/09          02/19/09

    _789_

    BuyParts          03/1/09            03/01/09

    SortParts          04/02/09          04/10/09

    Build                04/11/09          04/19/09

Any help provided would be much appreciated.

Create two repeating tables bound to the group with the SharePoint data. Then you can add filters to each table -- per your example above, you'd filter one to display where Job# = 123 and the other to display where Job# = 789....

Hillary- Thanks for the reply.  From your recommendation, I realized that I didn't make clear that the list of jobs is very dynamic.  That is, at any given time, there may be many unique job numbers.  The InfoPath form needs to be able to adjust automatically depending on what jobs are currently in the queue.  It seems like that would require some type of nested repeating tables, but I've not had any success in getting that worked out.  Am I way off base here?
